Frequently Asked Questions

What ages can join Elite FC? ▾
The pathway starts at Petite (ages 3–4), moves through Pre-Academy (5–7) and Academy (7–12), and continues for players 13+ on the pathway to NPL, JPL and YPL.
What is MiniRoos? ▾
Football Australia's small-sided format for players aged 7 to 11 — smaller fields, smaller teams and modified rules for significantly more involvement per match than full-sided football.
How does the Moonee Valley Knights partnership work? ▾
Elite FC is partnered with Moonee Valley Knights FC, giving players access to a broader competitive environment, shared coaching resources and a wider pathway across both clubs.
Do teams play beyond local competition? ▾
Yes. Elite FC teams have the opportunity to represent the club at national tournaments and on international tours, gaining exposure to different styles, standards and environments at a formative age.
